His Excellency President Adama Barrow on Wednesday received the Ministry of Lands, Regional Government and Religious Affairs on Wednesday at the State House in Banjul.
The purpose of the visit was to brief the President on the affordable housing initiative. The project, initially focusing on West Coast Region, aims to provide decent and affordable shelter for Gambians.
President Barrow welcomed the decision of affordable housing, aligning it to the National Development Plan- YIRIWA. He emphasised on the need for legal advice to ensure government procedures are followed.
The project underscores the government’s commitment to making housing more accessible and affordable for citizens.
