The Honourable Minister of Lands, Regional Government and Religious Affairs Honourable Hamat N.K. Bah is currently attending the World Bank Land Conference in Washington DC, alongside Deputy Permanent Secretary Technical Mamudou Manjang and the Director of Lands and Surveys Dawda Fatty.
Honourable Bah was received by the World Bank Senior Land Administration specialist, Camile Bourguignon Roger.
This year’s conference is focused on moving from awareness to actions with discussions on effective strategies for securing land tenure & access, scaling up land sector initiatives, investments, and policy reforms that promote global prosperity and environmental sustainability.
The Honourable Minister and his team also attended sessions on reforming urban Land Management and had several meetings with delegates from other countries, academia, researchers, and organizations.
